As a proud OCSA alumna, I am profoundly thrilled to be a part of the CSArts - SGV founding team. I deeply believe in the transformative impact and unparalleled value of an arts education. It is an honor to be back in Southern California, contributing to the next generation of creative thinkers and artists.

Teaching Drama at The East Harlem School at Exodus House
Elated to be serving as a full-time 4th-8th-grade drama teacher at the magnificent and inspiring East Harlem School At Exodus House.

Our curriculum focuses on ensemble building, improvisation, the Stanislavsky method, approaching Shakespeare, and public speaking/interview skills.

Additional responsibilities include:

Directing, choreographing, stage-managing, and implementing five main-stage musical student productions, two vocal concerts, a poetry slam, and a poetry recitation.

Directing, leading, and coordinating a student choir.

Teaching Yoga, Fitness, and Dance classes.

June 2016 - How To Bury A Saint at The Schoolhouse Theater
Was thrilled to perform in and choreograph the premiere of Janice Maffei's beautiful new play.
May 2016 - Graduated from the University of Southern California
Received my Master of Arts in Teaching with a Teaching Certification in Secondary English and joined Phi Kappa Phi with a 4.0 GPA.
May 2016 - Romeo and Juliet Teaching Artist Series and Reading
In a series of Teaching Artist Master Classes, my 8th-grade English Language Arts students examined Romeo and Juliet through the lens of the actor, the director, and the contemporary playwright. The experience culminated in a reading that explored Romeo and Juliet as performed by age-appropriate actors. In this production, I played the Nurse alongside other professional actors and the 8th-grade students.
